VWAM in Vietnam Today… Click here to see how we help.

The Vietnam War is only one of the many aspects of the VWAM website. This site contains a great deal of information on: the Vietnam war, Vietnam war photos, the ethnic peoples of Vietnam, current events in Vietnam, travel tips and more. We also offer an extensive selection of photos of this beautiful country both past and present.

Vets With A Mission is doing something constructive to help a people with whom we have shared so much suffering in common. Learn more about what we do in Vietnam and what motivates us as a veterans group to help the people of Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos. Please sign our Guest Book and let us know when you were in country and who you served with. If you're a non-veteran or student and using this page for reference work please let us know if our information helped you. To search our website click here.

Thanks for stopping by and giving us a chance to show you the beauty and the needs of this fascinating country called Vietnam. God Bless you and come back often.

Here you see the veterans who participated on the Hue-Hong Ha-Hong Kim-A Luoi Team September 16 – October 2, 2009.
VWAM humanitarian team trips are not just about the Vietnamese. Many Vietnam veterans return on these team trips, and for some it’s their first time since the war. Vietnam veterans on the team are recognized and honored at a special China Beach Bar-Be-Que or Dinner by the other team members. Here you see the veterans who participated on the Hue-Hong Ha-Hong Kim-A Luoi Team September 16 – October 2, 2009. Each veteran is holding a picture of himself taken during their military service that has been signed by the non-veteran team members. On it are expressions of gratitude and appreciation for serving their country. In addition, the MIA/POW chair represents MIA Captain Floyd Olsen, shot-down in the village of Hong Ha on April 21, 1968, and all POW/MIA from the Vietnam War.
