First of all I want to say that I think that you all are incredibly brave for speaking out and supporting eachother. Yesterday my English professor asked us to write an essay on an abstract word. I chose courage. I wanted to come here to ask all of you what courage meant to you. In my eyes all of you are the meaning of courage but I wanted to hear this in your own words. If this is asking to much or if I am way out of line please just tell me, and I will never come back again; I just thought this would be one of the best places to find the real meaning of courage. Thank You

I proudly served with the 1st Avn. Bde. 10th CAB 17CAG 60th Avn. Co. (asslt. hel.) Ghost Riders out of Ninh Hoa. I was there in 1972. I was assigned to the 2nd Flt. Plt.. I believe our mission today is the same as 30 plus years ago supporting our troops. For we know what's it like not having the support of our nation. We can not have any more Jane Fonda's. One is more than enough......

Looking for service men who might have known my Dad in Viet Nam. He was at Da Nang in 1965 and at Ton Son Nhut Air Base Run, 7th Air Force. I have a picture of him with other service men, all it says on the back of the picture is 7th Air Force, Ton Son Nhut AB Run, 23 Sep 1969. I have other pictures but not sure if they were taken in Da Nang in 1965 or in Ton Son Nhut in 1969. On the back of these other pictures are the names Sgt's Whitmore, Wilson, Snow, Smith and Cambell. My Dad did not talk about his service in Vietnam, nor did he speak of his times in WWII and Korea, with just a very few stories here and there. His name was Charles R. Hayes and in 1969 he was a Tsgt. If anyone knew him will you please email me. Thanks!
