I was stationed at LZ Weight Davis from Nov. 1970 thru Oct. 1971 until they deactivated. I drove a jeep for the compound commander, Cpt. Clark, later replaced by Cpt. Jones. My nickname was Willypete because of my initials. I remember we had A,B,C, D companies along with the 509th and 584th. We also had some artillery with dusters. Long live the 20th Combat Engineers, 18th Brigade. If anyone was there around this time, send me an e-mail. Swords up, Keep "M" sharp.
