I was stationed at LZ Weight Davis from Nov. 1970 thru Oct. 1971 until they deactivated. I drove a jeep for the compound commander, Cpt. Clark, later replaced by Cpt. Jones. My nickname was Willypete because of my initials. I remember we had A,B,C, D companies along with the 509th and 584th. We also had some artillery with dusters.
