I was born in 1954, and attended college during the Vietnam war era years. I am married to a Viet Nam war era veteran. I would like to find a way to support positive development in that country, and to learn lessons for the future which will help me to know how to vote. I am very worried that the country where I live now is in the process of committing suicide if we do not learn the lessons that the war in Viet Nam taught us. The North Vietnamese sustained incredible numbers of casualties, and thus defeated our "superior" weaponry. The human element seems destined to prevail over military might. My worries and concerns may be out of proportion to reality, however I feel that I need to find a way to do something to learn and assist others. Thank you
