Was assigned (TAD) to 27th Marines, left III MAF DaNang and enroute our convoy (May 1968) was hit by something. I in coma for about 30 days, awoke in USNH SAN DIEGO Ca Ward 26-2b Neurosurgery. Was later send to Psych Lock unit 36-3, after 4 month released and returned to full duty and got a TS Clearance. Return to Nam June 69 with 3rd FSR and then MAG-13, MABS-13, COMM UNTIL June 1970.....early release.

What a trip.......

2009 retired RCP-NPS (Ret) after 43 years in Neonatal ICU. Sick newborn babies and sometimes their mothers.....And we think that we suffered? God Bless the Many.........
