To all vets. Just a heads up: On or about Veterans Day this year watch Discovery channel for a special documentary film titled "In The Shaddow Of The Blade." This film features a group of Vietnam vets who restored a UH1H Huey helicopter that actually flew in Vietnam. They then took the helicopter on a trip across the country visiting selected veterans, helicopter crews, grunts, medics, nurses, even a "donut dollie" and telling their story of what the Huey meant to them. It is not a shoot-em-up war story. It is a story about people and how they were affected by the Huey.I know some of the vets involved (from my unit) and I had the chance to preview it with them at the reunion of the Vietnam Helicopter Pilot's Association on July 3. What an audience to watch it with! Not many dry eyes in the crowd of hundreds. DON"T MISS IT. Welcome Home Dave Bonifield
