I was in Vietnam from Jan 67 to Jan 68 with HHB,2nd Bn 19th ARTY, 1st CAV DIV. I was in Bn FDC. Its been a long time and I've forgotten most of the names. Would like to hear from anyone who might remember me. When I left LTC Gillespie was BC, CPT Stadler was "I think" FDO, and LT Lambert also worked in the FDC section. In late 85 I saw a taped interview with LTC Gillespie and talked with then BG Stadler. If any of you 229th AVN guys ever landed at LZ English " late 67 into 68" I was one of the ones who built the A-frame hooch. Donohue (spelling) do you remember the sniper taking a shot at us while we were servicing the generators? GLENN, thanks for your friendship all these years, I'm sorry I have not been the friend to you You were to me. Would love to hear from any 229th AVN guys if you remember seeing the A Frame hooch. Glenn and I built it out of ammo boxes we helped unload at the ammo dump.
