served with K Co, 3rd battalion 9th marines Sept 67 Nov 67 at Con-thien. Diagnosed PTSD recovered alcoholic 26 years sober by grace of God. I need help for discharge upgrade. Anybody remember me? I was very tall and skinny and lucky as heck. I was airlifted out of Con-thien during siege because they found out my brother was in Country at same time...I have had a hard time with this and am trying to settle this thing once and for all. I nearly drank myself to death over it, now my younger brother (Major in USAF Reserve) and my wife and children went to Congressman E Clay Shaw to take a look at my Bad Conduct Discharge and try for an upgrade to medical or Honorable. Nobody understands what we went through at Con-thien and this is first time in 30 years I am asking for help. I am grateful for any help or reply. God Bless/Semper Fi
