I am writing a novel-characters are Vietnam Vets.I am interested in hearing from anyone who served in Company A, 1st Recon Battalion, 1st Marine Division (Rein),FMF. Specifically norning hours of 5 March 1969 during OPERATION ROCK and was a member of the 15 man recon patrol manning ovservation post on Hill 146 overlooking the Quan Duc Valley whe PFC Ralph H. Johnson gallantly gave his life. Any and all information will be appreciated and your name (if you wish) will receive honorable mention in the forward of this book (to be published before end of 2005. Thanks and God Bless
