I was on FB Gold with an infantry platoon of the 101st in late of '71. I was a voice intercept operator and copied messages from an NVA bn planning to overrun us on 4 July. Many airstrikes went in near the hill and the battalion was destroyed. If you have any information about the events in late June, early July '71 I would like to hear from you.
