Navy 65-68. Detached from NSA Danang 66-67 to an outfit that was a P.O.L. I have been trying to find any information on that unit for quite some time. It was located on hill 33 near the entrance to happy valley. We guarded barrole]s of fuel and oil. My memory is very shaded obout that time. The guys called me the hulk because of the drawing on the back of my flack jacket. I am looking for anyone that remembers that unit. Please contact me. The few names I remember from that time are Swed, adams, and Kennedy (who was the NCO in charge of my watch. The 3rd Marine motor batt was accross the hill from us and we sometimes could get a hot meal from them. I think the 1st armored was between us and the out skirts of danang. To our east we could see hill 327 accross the rice paddies. I was hurt and sent down to the hospital at Red beach. Please. If anyone remembers me or the place I described please contact me . Thanks. bob Wallace
