I was assigned to "B" Company 1st. Bn. 1st. Marine Reg. in Vietnam and was there on hill 48 when "Charlie" Company was hit on Hill 22 during the 27th. & 28th. of October 1965. To my recollection it was not Alpha Company. Who ever gave you that information is mis-informed. Check Marine records to verify.
