I Spent eight years in the Marine Corps and was privilege to have Roger Helle speak at one of my Marine Corps Balls. After the ceremonies , I had the great honor of meeting Roger and receiving a signed copy of his book ," Pointman". As a young marine I read his book with great enthusiasm and enjoyed the war story and great esprit de corps , however at thirty years old now and the youth director of my local church, I have re-read this book and have found it a totally different book. I have researched Roger and found that he is working with a great organization that I am affiliated with , and that being Teen Challenge, . Reading his story and understanding Gods great ability to heal the wound , not only of the body , but also the wounds of the heart gives teen-agers , who think that their problems are greater than anyone else , a great hope and courage to turn their problems over to God and trust him to take care of them.
