I spent 30 months in Vietnam with the 1stBn, 11thMarines, 107mm Mortar platoon. We were everywhere from Danang north. My tour was from April 1967 to December 1970. During the Tet Offensive of 1968 our unit was split and some went to Hue City and others to Khe Sahn. We were also at A-3 (by Con Thien), Cua Viet, Quang Tri, Dong Ha, and many more places including making beach assaults off the U.S.S. Cleveland onto Barriers Island. I would love to correspond with any that remember me. It has been a long time and some names have been forgotten but all faces are imbedded in my mind forever.
