I was in Nam from oct ' 68- sep ' 69 . It's been a while so I've forgotten so many things . First of all I even forgot the trans co I was with , in Long Binh .
If you was with me and recall this incident ; We were TDY'd down Saigon when Long Binh got hit . We were watching the fire works from our balcony in the hotel we were staying in . The next morning , we were sent back to Long Binh to re- leaved those guys who fought Charlie all that night before . That night we got shelled from our own Artillery that was located by the 90th replacement center or maybe by Bein Hoa Airfield . If you remember any of this please drop me a line .
My DD214 got only my second tours info . which was from dec ' 69 - sep '70 . I was with the 523rd trans co in Cha Rang valley northeast of Qui Nho'n ..
