I am try to locate anyone who may have known my brother SP/4 Edward John Lindemann. He was with Company C,4th Medical Battalion, 4th Infantry Division, Vietnam 11/1968 until he was wounded April 1970. He was at 17th Field Hospital until transfered to 249th General Hospital Japan. He received The Distinguished Service Cross for throwing himself on a grenade to protect his comrades. He was wounded by enemy fire while on reconnaissance mission B-40 rockets. He mentions a place called Vouny or Voung Tou. He received 3 purple hearts and also the Bronze Star during his duty. I lost my brother July 17th, 2005 from gastric cancer related to his exposure to Agent Orange. I miss my brother terribly and not a day goes by that I do not think of him. I would like to know more about his experiences while in Vietnam, he didn't share much. The information I do have is from letters I have saved. I know he said he played Tunnel Rat December 1969. In October 1969 he mentioned being at a fire base Hard Times
