Nice to find this site served with the 3rd 506th Abn. Inf. 101st Airborne Div. RVN 1967-1968. Our base camp was LZ Betty Phan Thiet. Things got jumping on Jan. 30th. just like everywhere else. I don't think that history has clearly shown that we gave Charllie and the NVA far more than they expected. Westmoreland was right it could have been the point for complete military victory in Viet Nam. But LBJ and Congress were to worried about public opion to let us finish the deal right then. Just one paratroopers take on the whole mess. Will check your site often.
