Thank you for such an informative website on Vietnam. I am a daughter of a Marine Corp Vietnam veteran. I was born in 1967, he was serving in Vietnam at the time. I was 3 when he came home. He never spoke of his years in Vietnam, he was a supply officer. I attempted to do a research paper in highschool (1984) on Vietnam, but couldn't get him to say anything about it, nor did I find a lot of information on it. Of course in highschool, we never studied the Vietnam War, we never made it past WWII. My father now suffers from Post Traumatic Syndrome. I always assumed he was in a non-threatened area during the crisis, being a supply officer. But it has come out, that he dealt with quite a lot. Anyway, thank you for educating me on a land and it's people which has played a part in my family's history.
