I am an adopted child, born Sept. 6, 1967. Was born in Madison, WI, and adopted through a Lutheran Agency in Milwaukee, WI. Although I was given no identifying info. all paperwork suggests that my birth father, who was 19 years old at the time, went to Vietnam either just before, or shortly after I was born. I don't have a name, or branch of service, I only know he was approx. 6' tall, had dark hair, and played in a band. Possibly sang as well. His hometown was more than likely either Milwaukee or Madison, WI. I'm sure this sounds like a crazy request, but if anyone knew of a soldier or sailor from Wisc., or sailor that possibly went through Great Lakes Naval Training Center in Fall '67, left for bootcamp or was incountry in the fall of '67- Jan.'68, and had recently become a father in Sept. '67, please, please, please contact me.

I'm going out on a limb, I know, but have been searching for years and have come up empty. I figure that one of these days I'll get lucky. I was married to someone in the USAF, am divorced now, but have been in a very long term relationship with someone else in the USAF.
