My father was born and raised in Salem, Virginia until he volunteered to go to Vietnam in 1964. He served with the 554th Light Maintence Ground Support in Quin Nhon until 1967 or 1968. He was 18 years old when he left. He left Virginia and went on to California where he was then taken to Quin Nhon. He was then returned in 1968 to Rocky Mountain Arsenal in Denver Colorado. I believe his rank was E4. His name was GARY LEE THOMAS. Anyone with any information on my father, anyone who remembers him or anyone that served with him PLEASE contact me. I am his daughter, Heather who is trying to help him recover a part of his life he isnt sure if he wants to remember. Thank you and god bless you all.
