Hello all of you wonderful veterans. My name is Cindy born on Guam in April 8, 1967. My mothers name is Digna Duenas Benevente. She may go by the name Didang or Dina. I am searching for my father. I don't know much about him. All I know is that his name is Tom last name begins with an S, He has dirty blonde hair and blue eyes. He was about 18 or 19 yeard old when he meet my mother who worked in a club on Guam and use to double date with her cousin Rosita and another marine name John. My mother stated he was from PA. I am pretty sure this man would have been in Vietnam from 1966 to 1967 or longer according to my older sisters his late name may have started with a Sch and he use to help her with her home work. My mother lived in Sinajana and he use to alway talk to the lady next door, but she has passed on 8 year before my search. They use to drive to Inarajan together to visit my grandparants, he drove a volkswagon buggy. My mother was reluctant to give me anymore information when my step father had pasted, thinking, I would leave her. My mother has past away in 2000 with cancer. I know there is very little to go on here, and it may not even be correct, but if there is anyone who could help me, it would be much appreciated. Thank you very much.
