I am 34-year old half-Vietnamese girl with new info about my American birth father MIKE KENNETH LEWIS, American soldier in Cam Ranh Bay 1970-71. MIKE was lead cook at ARMY MESS HALLS downhill near Communication Center 1970 & Mess Hall uphill 1971 (that where my mom work as his typist in 71). His duties were supervise cooks, inventory & order food, plan menus, payroll so probably MOS 94B10 or 94B20. MIKE was med. ht, wt, thin brown hair & seem much older than other GI. MIKE know my mom (NHAN KIM HUYNH) pregnant and he not want to leave her. MIKE send Vietnamese friend to tell Mom to rush to airport immediately to see him one last time because he have to leave early but she have no way to get there. He never see her again.

MIKE leave Vietnam about Aug.-Sept. 1971 & I born 7 months later March 1972. He may be in Unit #124th Transportation Co. so truck drivers, cooks, G.I.s could all remember him. Do you remember a MIKE LEWIS?
I pray everyday for my father to want to see me one time to see how much I look like him (I do not look like my mom) & I want to ask him question about his family history and health problems. Thank you for any information you can tell me about my father or any suggestion on how I locate him. Yen: [email protected] or 682-559-6212
