Thank you for a wealth of information for my 8th grade American History class. I hope to share much of the first person accounts with them to supplement our text. Your photos and scrapbook pages are quite stirring.
As a 50 something yr old, I clearly recall the war, friends waiting for their draft number, and watching the war on tv. I also was greatly involved with my Vietnamese friends at Ohio U when their families needed to get out of Nam before the fall. I enjoyed tutoring the parents when they arrived in Ohio. Plus, my payment was a terrific home-cooked Vietnamese meal!
Thanks, also, for all your work in Vietnam today. Is it truly the Pearl of the Orient as my friends used to say?? Some day I would love to visit Saigon and the surrounding areas. Someday...
