My brother served two tours in country, and we were so proud of him. Now, I'm writing a book, fiction, and my hero is a VietNam vet. I'm trying to find out as much as I can about what my hero might have experenced. Your site is a great resource, though it still leaves me with questions.

My hero is a U.S. Army Grunt who was wounded towards the end of his second tour. He suffered some hearing loss and because of it, he was sent home. He has only been back Stateside a few months to a year. He has flashbacks during the story. Sorry about going into so much detail, but I'm hoping someone who might be able to help me with this story will contact me via email.

Blessings to all who served. I honor you all.

Amy
