My hero my daddy served in Vietnam I'm a bit unsure of exact dates. He is a disabled veteran and earned a purple heart. I am so proud of him and all of you hero's who served our country. I only wish that you all would have been treated like the heros that you all are and with the respect that you all earned and deserve. I know that he as well as the rest of you will always be my heros and honorable men in my book.My daddy's name is Harold E. Barnette. And by God's wonderful grace he is still alive and well. He has even been called to carry the gospel, guess you can see that I'm a bit proud. He visits the wall every memorial day and this year we will be taking my three year old and beginning a new tradition with her. I always want her to know who the real heros are. I never needed super heros or fictional good guys I was blessed enough to live with one of my own. God bless all of you heros!!!!!
