Welcome home! And, thanks for being there with me. I was stationed with Bravo Co. 326th Med, 101st Airmobile, Phu Bai. Sgt. E-5, Air traffic controller Duster outfit. Duty from November 1970 to November 1971. Memories are very clear from the day I stepped off that 707 in Camron Bay to Flying out of DaNang headed home. For the past two years I have been asked to be a guest speaker for Chapman University and have tried to point out to the young men and women the lighter side of war. The students can read about all the horriffic stories and pollitical issues but rarely does anyone speak of the funny and amazing human nature side of any war. Please contact me if you served in the northern highlands from DaNang to Quan Tri and from Laos to the south china sea and tell me your special amazing or funny story. I would love share it with the young men and women who are trying to understand why we were there and what helped us get through it and back home. I would also like to hear any stories related to when you first got back from in country. Thanks and God Bless all Veterans of any war!
