I served with the United States Army's 510th Engineer Company in Long Binh from August 1971 to April 1972. I believe that my Commander in Chief, Richard Nixon came under so much political pressure to "bring the boys home" right after the Easter offensive began he ordered all troops with at least eight months in country home. Hallelujah!!
