Corporal James McKinley USMC from Monroe wrote on March 24, 2021 at 10:00 pm
My name is Loyde Arender and I am searching for Corporal James Jim McKinley USMC who served with me in a CAP (Combined Action Program) Unit in the Village of Ap Kim Lien just off of Highway 1 north of DaNang near Nam O Bridge between November 15, 1969 to January 30, 1970. We were members of Kilo 3/26 under the command of Captain Robert Bob Dalton USMC but were attached to the CAP / CUPP Unit in Ap Kim Lien. Jim McKinley was from either Texas or Illinois. I was a machine gunner 0331 in the USMC infantry and Jim was in charge of our 8-man KT Killer Team. Also in our KT was Richard Poncho Landa our interputer from Texas and Phillip Phil Russenello from the East Coast, possilbly South Carolina. See our webpage at http://www.combatwife.net/mmsnake.htm
