I was a corpsman with the 3rd Shore Party, H&S Co., 3rd Marine Division from Nov 1966 - Nov 1967. Started off in DaNang, across from Hill 327 and "the big PX", Then the battalion relocated to Gia Le (a cemetery between Hue and Phu Bai). As a corpsman, we were sent to various companies for different periods, operations, support, etc., sometimes a few days to six months on "float", etc. Would enjoy hearing from anyone with the Shore Party Battalion, or that knew corpsmen there, especially those that were KIA that year.
