Served B Troop 1/1 Cav. from Sept.-70 to April 71. Made the trip on a LST boat up to Khe Sanh. While at Khe Sanh I 1049 over to the 123rd AVN BN. back at Chu Lai. The 123rd AVN BN were called the " Warlords. " Flew as a doorgunner on slicks. Was with the 123rd AVN BN from April 71 to Sept. 71. Proud to have served with both units. Sorry to hear that the 1/1 Cav is deflaging it's colors now. It has been one of the best unit's in the history of the United States military. Proud that I was part of it's history. Clear Right Up Sir
