This fine man David Ray Burkman went home to his maker today. He was a bonifide war hero, a loving father and grandfather, and I am proud to have called him my friend. His tour of duty is ended, please pray for his immortal soul.

served with a great bunch of guys Aco 3rd bde 1/508 82nd abn. 1968.wounded april 24 1968. chu lai,phu bai,hue,quang tri,a shai. lost contact 39 yrs. ago am very anxious to hear from any body i knew.many went to jump school together before deployed overseas.tony benavidez,pete petrazewski,sgt.guzman,capt.Hayman,pfc.webb to name a few have forgoten a lot of names but not faces,would love to hear from any of you.when i got hit you got me out of there.thanks.
