This site as well as many others is just so painful to look at. I know it sounds contradictory, but I opposed the war but wanted our boys home. I had a good friend there and a boyfriend - both were KIA and so young. I always respected these brave men and boys for being in Vietnam, I never wavered in my support of them. Sadly, in the end, we left Nam and not soon after Saigon fell. Almost 59,000 young Americans perished - for me it hurt to lose John, the man I would've married, Mark, my neighbor and the 58,000 brave boys and men who gave their lives.
I have nothing but the utmost respect for all of you Vets and those who never came home. May God bless you all.
