I am a USMC Vietnam vet trying to help a young lady locate true information concerning her father. She was born in Saigon in Dec 1973. From what her mother told her, we think her father's first name was Martin, but that could have been the last name. Other names that may coincide are Hogan, Hagen, Egan, just not sure. We think he was a Sgt and was in country from about 1972 through mid 1973. The last time her mother saw him was in Spring of 1973. She was told by other members of his unit that his convoy got hit and he may have been WIA/KIA or who knows. He did not know that he has a daughter. I suspect that he was probably in the Army, but her mother thought he was a Marine, although I don't know of too many Marine units around Saigon at that time. Supposedly he ran or escorted convoys between Cam Rahn and DaLat.

She would just like to know what happened to her father. If anyone might have any ideas or know someone who fits that descripition, please contact me. I have a picture of her mother that I could show him if anybody thinks he is this person.

Thanks
