Many WW2 vets served in Vietnam

Many WW2 veterans served in Vietnam as late as 1970 (just as a sizeable number of Vietnam veterans are serving in Iraq today... 30+ years after the Vietnam War ended.)

Probably the most famous WW2 vet who served in Vietnam was General William C Westmoreland who commanded a battalion in Germany (Battle of the Bulge) during WW2. The following is but one of thousands of Americans who continued to serve long after WW2...
