Dear Mr. Royer:

In another post in the Board and a later correction I mention my injury on August 18, 1970:

Driving in a Cords vehicle(Toyota Land Cruiser) from Ben Tre to Saigon and back to Ben Tre, Mr Baker, the civilian with Cords, I and his Vietnamese driver were involved in some type of enemy operation very near Ben Tre, which put me into a coma and sent me home. Since yours is the first letter I've seen to mention that 'Helping Hands" (words with an icon of two hands grasped in friendship, i.e., a handshake on the vehicle) organization this is written to learn if you know of a Mr Baker, his condition and that of his driver. Failing this, do you know who I can contact to find out? I would like to learn what happened to me, too. My Bn Executive Officer told my mother or wife that I was on the way to a bank in Saigon; he was wrong. Mr Baker said he was going to the Embassy; I was going to the Air Force Base in Saigon, Tan Son Nhut. I was an Army, Spec 4, Radio Teletype Operator.
Thank you for your assistance.
