Served with Co. E (Recon Pltn), 4th Battalion, 503d Infantry, 173d Brigade [Feb.'70-Jan '71]. Battalion located at LZ North English (Tam Quan). Spent most of my time "humping" mountain range near An Lo Valley, or conducting "Night-hawk" ambushes.

To my buddy: Rick Gordon, Last known address, Sunbury, Pa. If you read this, please contact me.

WARNING TO: Sgt. Williams, US Army Recruiter, Hunts Point, NY Recruiting Station. We better not cross paths. This for you telling me: "Hey kid, don't worry about the Vietnam War, just sign here on the dotted line, and you'll be stationed in the Canal Zone, Panama."
