Welcome Home
Sgt. Jack W. Hutson
I am a Vietnam Vet, in country 1965/1966. was first assigned to III Corp Com Center, 39th Sig. Batt. Later transferred to Xuan Loc to replace Sgt. Valentine at the Adv. Tm 87 Com Cen. I remember Sgt Banks getting killed, I remember Charley Taylor a radio operator, I remember a Lt. Carrol as my CO (later met him in Davis Calif, and he had been promoted to Capt.) I got my head busted by being thrown off of a deuce and a half going up Chua Chan mountain carrying bags of cement.
From time to time something else will pop in my head and make me remember things. When I remember a small thing it makes me feel good.
I developed Larnyx Cancer from Agent Orange and developed PTSD and Diabetes II. But, Hell I'm still here, If anyone reads this and remembers me or any of the things I brought up I would like to hear from you.
Thanks.
