Served with 1883rd Comm Sqdn. (AFCS) at Phu Cat, '71 as an Air Traffic Control Radar Repairman. We kept that MPN-14 running with spit & prayer! Base turned over to VNAF in November, I stayed on as part of the AF Advisory Team until the end of the year. PCS'd to Cam Ranh, Bien Hoa, TSN and finally finished tour at Korat RTAFB via way of Bangkok!..(will never forget the Grand Prix!..)

Always tried to take the good from the "Nam experience"; the people, culture, beliefs and pass it along over life's journey, while remembering those who made the ultimate sacrifice and didn't have that chance.

Maybe each of us made a difference after all..
Please wait...
