I was in th Headquarter Company and I was a second squad leader. I was in the 864th Engineer 18th Battalion. I was at Whiskey Mountain from Jan. 1972 to June 1971. I brought rations to the mess halls and purified water on the northwest side of the river. After the bulldozer operator was killed, I was sent home early. I was in Phan Thiet from Oct. 1970 to Dec.1970. We were mortared on Dec. 16, 1970 at the Phan Theit base. Anyone remember me? I am trying to find someone that was in the area with me.
