40 years have come and gone, in a blink, since 1968. Having stumbled on this site, I sit safely in front of my computer, once again wired tight by the info I have read here. On January 31, 1968 I was stationed with the 25th Inf. Div. at a forward base north of Cu Chi, at a place called Dau Tieng. From then until I left Vietnam in mid-July, the non-stop attacks never let up, contrary to what most people believe (that Tet only lasted a couple weeks or maybe a month). Little do they know. OK, that's it from me for today...I'll go back to being normal, low-key Rob for another year or two. Glad these new vets are treated differently.
Please wait...
