Regarding the attack on the golf course in 1970. The evidence showed that the attack came from with inside Radcliff. The fire dept. that controlled the golf course area had been changed and all firefighters were locals. It's said that the firefighter themselves set the charges and then returned to the fire house.

Because the unit I was attached to was across the road from the golf course I'm glad they decided not use the search light. I wouldn't hae wanted them to light up the area we were patroling this would hae been one of the most logical area for sappers to come up the creek.

I really think you need to do a lot more research before you base your conclusions of this attack.
And as far as the fire in SL Mo. 1974 the fire did not destroy any Vietnam records but it did destroy almost all of Korea and some of WW2.
If you need pictures of the attack let me know we took plenty the next morning.
