I was 2311 Munitions Tech assigned to the bomb dump at chu lai, got there at Tet 1968. Started finning 500 pounders. i was 18 and skinny, could hardly pull a bomb out of the rack with two hands. by the time i left was pulling bombs out in each hand! looking to hear from any one there at the time. Any one remember Ragsdale Diner? or the tank retriver accident on Americal Hill?
