I was the "doc" on the hill in Gio Linh with Hdqtrs Batt., 12th Marines, 3rd Mar Div where I got hit with incoming and medevaced to the USS Repose Sept. 22, 1969. I am looking for the only guy that I patched up and was medevaced with me. He took a piece of schrapnel below the right ribs, lacerated the vena cav and was told he survived. Would like to see him again. Can't recall his name.
