Did the commanders take time to read the numerous intelligence documents I authored which informed them of what the enemy was thinking and doing prior to and after Tet? Or, maybe they did read them but too controversial and against the grain of command thinking at the time. Maybe, command did not have the courage to "rock the boat". Perhaps, some things could have turned out different with some courageous discussion. We gave it our best!
