I was stationed at Chu Lai, Viet Nam with VMFA 323 "Death Rattlers" from April 1967 - May 1968. Was at the airfield the evening that the Tet offensive started against us in Jan 1968 working the night crew/ground crew for our squadron/planes. Remember when our Squadron Commander Col Hagman was shot down over Norh Vietnam during Tet. Welcome home my friends. SGT Mitchell W Gordon USMC
