USMC 1954-1958
Operation "Teapot" 1955 (google in "operation Teapot and you will know what this means) We are recognized as "Atomic Veterans"
Operation "Strongback" 1958. I found out later that Lee Harvey Oswald was on the same ship.
US. Army 1958 to 1975. Served in Nam with the 506th.
My best and childhood friend and I joined the Corps together in San Antonio Texas. He stayed in the Corps His name is Gunnery Sergeant Juan Almanza and was with 3/26 Marines. KIA'd in Quang Tri. If you knew him, please contact me.
