I was stationed in Bear Cat April 68 to July 68 as an Artillery Surveyor with the 2nd Tab 26TH Arty. We came over on the USNS Barrett via Frisco from Ft Bragg. Landed at Vung Tau had to wait an extra day to disembark. Lucky us. Cannot remember to many names but one that sticks out was a guy named Shrewsbury.
