looking for anyone who may have served with: 1st Platoon, 1st Battallion, Fox Company, 5th Marines, 1st Marine Div, .......... April 1967, VIETNAM. Have a good friend, who was a fire team leader and was hit by a "short round", "friendly fire". He was the lone survivor of his team. He never recieved a purple heart . After 43yrs. I think he ÃŽs entitled to it, even though he may not. Though i was only 3 at the time, I would like to help, but have little info.
