I served in Iraq as a Machinegunner with 3rd Bn 1st Mar, I was there from 2004-2007 where I was wounded 5 times, I just wanted to say, you guys are the ones we look up to, your our generation of true hard A** heroes. Thank you for what you all did, thank you for being the men you are. We will never match up to you guys, but be sure to know, we try our hardest to make you guys proud. After I was wounded my last time I was sent to a wounded warrior care bn, many Vietnam vets came in to say thank you to us, we always feel un deserving when it comes from you all, but thank you for supporting us, and thank you for your service.
