I am looking for people that served from Dec 1969 through Nov 1970. I served under Sgt. Nelson in Platoon A. I was in the Americal division and worked with the 175 8" Howitzer guns. My vietnam name was "Bear". I was 25 miles from Chu Lai and about 30 miles south of Denang. Some Vietnam names I remember are "Gramps", The walking vegetable", and "The Tennessee Twins".

I was there when the 175 gun exploded on the compound killing one and wounding over 25.

I would really like to hear from anyone.
